- The Global Card feature is a new feature of the PermataDebit Plus Card that offers the advantage of currency conversion-free transactions for customers when withdrawing cash and shopping abroad. Transactions made will directly debit the foreign currency wallet in the customer's PermataBebas/PermataBebas iB account according to the foreign currency used in the transaction abroad.
- The Global Card feature can manage 10 foreign currencies available in the wallet feature within 1 PermataBebas/PermataBebas iB account. Here is the list of foreign currencies that can be managed with the Global Card feature: USD, AUD, SGD, JPY, EUR, HKD, CHF, NZD, CAD, GBP.
- The Global Card feature is exclusively available to PermataBebas/PermataBebas iB account holders using the PermataDebit Plus Card with the first 6 digits of 464005 and 471295 (Personal, Preferred, Priority & Private). Before enjoying the Global Card feature, customers must ensure that the debit card used is linked to the PermataBebas/PermataBebas iB account as the primary account.
- If a customer conducts a transaction in a foreign currency that is not among the 10 currencies managed by the Global Card feature of the Permata Debit Plus Card, the transaction can still be processed by debiting the Rupiah balance in the Customer's PermataBebas/PermataBebas iB account through the currency conversion process.
- If the balance in the foreign currency wallet of the Customer's PermataBebas/PermataBebas iB account is insufficient to complete the intended transaction, the transaction will be debited from the Rupiah balance in the customer's PermataBebas/PermataBebas iB account through the currency conversion process.
